The largest book in the catalogue at 141 pages, and the one that argues furthest from conventional political ground. Its subject is a musician, but its question is the same question the imprint keeps returning to: what actually holds a federation of very different people together.

The answer offered here is culture. Where politics divides Nigerians along the lines they were born into, Afrobeats has assembled an audience that does not consult those lines first. The book treats that as a fact worth examining rather than a sentiment worth repeating, and follows it through seventeen chapters: the early career and the family business behind it, the mechanics of an international touring operation, the economics of a genre that now earns abroad, and a chapter on the marriage, anchored on his wife.
